All of the base materials used to make jewelry, such as diamonds or colored stones, can be reused and never need to be discarded in the production process. Excessive consumption and mass disposal of things have become major issues today. However, we believe that, by continuing to create "jewelry with value that can be passed on from generation to generation," we can propose the value of not consuming nor disposing things, but treating them with love and passing them on over the years.​ ​

Procuring diamonds from responsible sources

The AHKAH’s jewelry appraisers are license by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and is committed to purchasing diamonds and other base materials from responsible sources. Sourcing our select materials through secure supply routes allows us to in turn provide the best quality of jewelry.

Sustainable and Environmental Initiatives​ ​

Our jewelry cases and shopping bags use FSC® -certified paper made from cotton linter combined with elemental chlorine-free (ECF) bleached pulp. Traditionally, elemental chlorine has been used to bleach wood in the pulp making process. This causes dioxins when chlorine-bleached paper is incinerated under specific conditions. Therefore, we use ECF pulp bleached with dioxide instead of chlorine in order to lessen our footprint on the environment, . Cotton linter is the fuzzy fiber left on cotton seeds after they have been ginned and is valued for its effective use of resources as one of main materials of recycled fibers. The suede used on the inside of the jewelry case is made of eco-friendly materials, the cotton grown in chemical-free soil and with controlled amount of used water and pesticides, paying attention to preservation of the surrounding habitat. Our ribbons use recycled PET plastic taken mostly from PET bottles such as for mineral water and recycled fabric scraps to help reduce petroleum consumption and carbon dioxide emissions.
